EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS MAY 2008
Thank you for filling up our donation box for Arlington Food Assistance Center. We will continue our drive until June 10. Many families with children are in need. Please bring canned goods such as soup and boxed items such as rice, cereal, and pasta on your next visit to our store. A donation of one item can make a difference.
Our new summer clothes are in, and include layette, play clothes, special occasion clothes, and bathing suits. Our size range is newborn to girls' size 14 and newborn to boys' size 7. Our latest addition is the lively, mix and match Tea Collection line.

On our sale racks: 50% off a Big Collection of Children's Summer and Winter Clothes--including jackets, sweaters, coats, shorts, shirts, pants, dresses, pajamas, onesies, coveralls, buntings, overalls. Sale does not include accessories such as most hats, gloves, jewelry, most underwear, tights, socks, leotards, raincoats, boots, Robeez.
Also on the sidewalk at 50% are summer sandals.
Beautiful bead kits for bead activities are at 50%.
Sale books are at 60% including wonderful picture books and chapter books. Also includes great travel, science, music, art and family books.

Thomas the Tank and Friends Play Day Sunday, June 1, 1:30 -- 2:30 PM Come have fun with Thomas and the gang. Enjoy coloring and activity sheets, listen to stories about Thomas and all his friends, have your face painted, and even go home with your very own free engineer hat and train whistle. AH SPRING AT LAST! At Kinder Haus Toys, we love "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. For children 2 1/2 to 6 years. First published in 1969, it's now a classic. We have the book in a number of formats: the hardcover, the board book, the board and puzzle. We also carry the stuffed toy, the board game and the card game. Please take a look.

STORYTELLER JIM WEISS Jim Weiss is a master children's storyteller who has released many audio cassettes and CDs. Examples of his stories include: "Shakespeare for Children," "King Arthur and his Knights," and "The Three Musketeers." After his great visit with us, he left many of his CDs including "Good Luck Duck" and "A Treasury of Wisdom." These CDs are wonderful on holiday trips in the car and rainy spring days in the house. They're terrific for children 4 years and up. |

AUTHOR AUDREY PENN Audrey Penn, author of The Kissing Hand, had a wonderful event with us and left signed copies of her new sequel, A Kiss Goodbye. A signed copy is an excellent gift idea.
